At Assured Asset Testing, we understand you’re busy and don’t always have the time to get around to everything you need to in your business. That’s why we make things easy for you by automatically scheduling in all of your regular testing and tagging and/or other services, ensuring you never lose track of your electrical maintenance again.
Our reminder service
When you book in with us, we’ll automatically schedule you in for future testing to make sure your equipment is re-tested within the safe and recommended timeframe. As the scheduled date approaches, we’ll get in touch to organise the best time for us to come and undertake the work. This means your business stays up to date with current regulations and you don’t have to worry about remembering to schedule in your next service. We can also schedule reminders for your other workplace servicing needs, from microwave leakage testing through to emergency and exit light inspections and more.
How we can help you
We take testing and tagging seriously and believe it’s one of the best things you can do to help ensure the safety of your business and its people. We’ll take care of your ongoing electrical compliance needs, making sure you’re up to date with current test and tag regulations and that you never miss another service. We use the latest technology, and our technicians and electricians are all well versed in the latest safety standards and protocols.
How testing and tagging works
One of our skilled technicians or electricians will carry out a visual inspection of your electrical items before undertaking one or all of the following tests:
- Polarity
- Current leakage
- Insulation resistance
- Earth continuity/resistance
Following testing, we can provide you with an easy-to-read report outlining the work conducted and information on when your next service is due. We’ll also mark your items with bar-coded tags, containing test date, the tester’s name and when the next service is due. If there are minor issues with your electrical cords or plugs, we can often conduct on-the-spot repairs.
We also carry out a range of other electrical services to ensure you’re up to date with WHS standards, including safety switch (RCD) testing, construction site testing and tagging, thermal imaging and fire extinguisher inspection. Simply let us know what needs doing and we can schedule in reminders for you so you’ll always be safe and compliant. If you are unsure of what needs to be inspected and tested, and at what retest intervals, we can help you with that as well.
